Yoshlochka

Synopsis

Debut feature film in a grindhouse register. A group of young people make reckless choices and meet the dark consequences — a raw, low-budget feature that wears its underground origins openly. Poberailo directed, wrote, produced, photographed, and edited the film, and appears on screen as Man at the Bar. Yoshlochka is the first long-form stake of a DIY practice that began in Kharkiv’s underground scene.
