Terrible Brilliant

Synopsis

A young university lecturer dreams of money and status, and starts taking bribes to “close” courses — one of several schemes he believes will get him “upstairs,” while several women orbit the same summer of bad decisions. Shot guerrilla-style in Kharkiv without a locked script (tests in early July 2015, principal photography through September), it is Poberailo’s multi-hyphenate independent feature: progressive shooting, small crew, long post. One of his primary IMDb known-for titles.
